Summer flows on the Yakima

Steady eddy from now till Sept..

Summer flows are best, the Irrigation rise is done and its all steady from here on into Steelhead season.

Stones are crawling and will be hatching on the next full moon. This brings on the early AM dry fly routine on both the Natches and the Yakima rivers.
Seems to be some good quality rainbows and cutty’s in the upper river and the usual suspects in the lower canyon.

Summer stones, PMD’s, evening caddis and all day sallies will be the norm. Its a run and gun dry dropper extravaganza!

Check out this new weather APP called WINDY its works great. Tons of info and probably way to much but I use it daily and it seems to be very accurate. Give it a try and call me for dates on your selection!
