Fly fishing for steelhead has come to a stop for a couple days, the weather had a quick warm up and an additional 2 inches of rain on snow. These freshets are what shuffle the deck in a big way often producing the best fishing of the season in the next few weeks. The latest weather report is for colder weather again with light precipitation meaning a fast drop in river levels and with a seasonal slow increase in daytime temps should keep the good fishing rolling through mid April, (swingtime on my calendar). Just before the big blow we had been doing great in moderate high water with good angling on the Hoh and Sol-Duc.
Get in on the drop and visit us at the Bogy house we have one final cancellation of the season to fill April 1-8 we have room for four at the lodge and guides to go with that.
Thanks and have a great day, Jeff..
