Ten days ago, or so I looked at the available snowpack and the reservoir height along with weather prediction and flow predictions. I thought we would have high flows with a fishable run-off by June 7th or so. NOPE not going to be the case fact we may miss the Green Drake hatch too and not be fishing until after the 15th. Let’s hope it clears sooner than later adaption is the angler’s friend.

In past seasons of high snowpack, we fished in 4800 – 5000 cfs for a few weeks in June. With this late warm up it maybe even later.
